From his first professional gig at 14, Kenny has played with or taught almost every guitar player in the Illinois/Indiana area. He's taught guitar at the US Federal Penitentiary and Gibault School for Boys in Terre Haute, IN. With over 30 years of experience under his belt he is in a category all his own. If you just picked up a guitar and want to learn basic fundamentals or have been playing for years and want to sharpen the finer points of playing Kenny can help make you a more complete player.

Kenny offers recording services for any situation. Kenny's state of the art equipment allows him to set up studio quality recording in almost any environment. Whether it's a coral concert in a gym or an album in your living room Kenny can handle it. His early career started with him playing with bands that included "Take a Turtle to Dinner" and "Rhythmic Union." For the last eight years Kenny has played with "The Jam Band," a rock/blues group he helped form, gigging primarily in the Danville, Paris, and Terre Haute areas. He also keeps himself busy with studio work. Known as "one-take-Hays" in studios from Danville, IL to Nashville, TN, Kenny has played his signature licks on stacks of albums from regional artists. He also is finishing up his first movie score for an independent film called "My Last Roommate."
